Not at all!! I do appreciate the honesty and I agree with a lot of what you said. I personally enjoy going to home shows (most of the time) and I tend to think everyone feels that way lol!! But I know a lot don't. I enjoy getting out of the house for an occasional night where I don't have to be a wife, mother, cook, housekeeper, etc. and getting to see people that I don't actually hang around with but still enjoy visiting with. I do normally feel like I should buy something but I don't usually have a problem with that because I can always find something I like. :). I have been on a tight budget in the past and would not go if I was unable to buy anything. I never felt resentful that I "needed" to buy something to support the hostess but I suppose some women would feel that way.
I do think we have a product that is different than other cosmetics and I don't think it's overpriced when it's compared to other products in its class. However, most people think cosmetics are all the same and aren't willing (or able) to try it.

I do agree that home shows are not as popular as they used to be and I think Facebook and texting has a lot to do with that. People have allowed electronics to take the place of conversations and they think that is a real relationship but nothing can take the place of actually talking on the phone or face to face. (This leads to a whole other conversation about teenagers and 20 somethings that have no idea how to carry on a conversation-which we can discuss later lol). I also think Internet shopping has affected them as well. Home shows used to be specialty items or things you couldn't get at the store but now you can get anything on the Internet!

Thanks again for your honesty and I do hope you liked our product enough that you will try more of it. I look forward to talking with you again soon!!
Have a great evening!!

So my fellow ladies, what do you think? Do you think these types of sales parties are outdated, or do you think Facebook and texting have taken the place of real relationships, which is why they're not as popular? Do you think that even has anything to do with anything? Was I correct in my thinking on this subject or do I just sound bitchy? I'd love to hear your opinions on this!

PS. I worked for a major cosmetics company and went to cosmetology school - (beauty school dropout). All cosmetics aren't created equal and in fact a lot of the less expensive ones work way better than the pricey ones. And I think that goes for pretty much every product in the world. Just some food for thought there.
